How To Stake SLF

Guide to stake SLF with Self Chain official staking application.

Prerequisites

Before we dive into how to stake SLF using the Kelpr browser extension with Self Chain Staking Application, you’ll need to if you don’t already have one.

Connect wallet to the Self Chain Staking Application

Open the Self Chain Staking App with the URL

Click the Connect Wallet button and Select Keplr to connect.

After the wallet is connected, you should see your wallet address and SLF token balance.

How to Stake SLF

After having the validator name, type it into the search box.

Click on the validator you wish to stake, and enter the amount of SLF.

Click Delegate and confirm the transaction with Keplr. After the transaction is confirmed, you will see a success notification. Click View TX if you wish to check the transaction details.

Refresh the page and check your staking position using the Only Staked check box.

On each validator, you can see the available rewards, click Withdraw Rewards, and confirm the transaction on your wallet to withdraw it to your wallet.

One of the first steps is choosing a good validator with which to stake, that can help to choose a better validator.
